We envision the future in the harmony between nigori sake and its vessel. We embrace cracks and aging as beauty, shaping the allure of imperfection. Each piece carries the story of earth and time, told through form and texture. We create vessels that make the experience of nigori sake truly unique.

この器たちは　ただの道具ではなく一つ一つが記憶や感情の深層と呼応するような存在であり　完璧さを求めるのではなくむしろ裂け目や歪みに宿る静かな美しさをすい上げることで　言葉にならない想いや時間の痕跡までもそっと映し出そうとしています。私は生み出される「焔土漆器」やひび割れの中に美を見い出す「寂裂技法」を通じて誰かの心の奥にふと触れるような　唯一無二の一点物を追い求めてきましたが　それは技法や素材だけで成り立つものではなく　制作の過程そのものが私にとって問であり生き方そのものであり　このART PIECE CRACKS COLLECTIONは　その過程からこぼれ落ちた”かけがえのない欠片” たちなのです。

Through the creation of En-do Shikkiーlacquerware born without fireーand the Jakuretsu Technique, which finds grace in fissures and flaws, Ihave pursued the expression of something deeply personal and irreplaceable. Each piece is not just a result of materials and techniques, but a reflection of my processーa question, a prayer, and a way of life. 影月　EIGETSU　焔土漆器　にごり酒専用片口酒器

『影月』は　光と闇の狭間に生まれた器　ひび割れた大地が呼吸するように　そこには静かな生命の鼓動が密かに宿る.　にごり酒を注げば　白い月が底に浮かび上がり一夜の夢のように揺らめき　時は止まり静けさだけが空間を包み込む.

“Kagezuki”ーa vessed bom between light and darkness where the cracked earth breathes softly and a quiet pulse of life dwells within. When nigori sake is poured a white moon rises from the depths, shimmering like a fleeting dream as time stands still and tranquility fills the sir.

闇の中で月は語らずに光を放ち　その淡い光が静寂を照らしやがて影を生む, 『影月』は　光と影の狭間に生まれた器である。ひび割れた大地が呼吸するように　そこには静かな生命の鼓動が揺らめく。その瞬間、時は止まりただ静けさだけが空間を包み込む。『影月』は　光と影が寄り添うように　永遠の余韻を残して消えていく。

無片　Muhen 　焔土漆器 にごり酒専用片口酒器

完全なものではなく　欠けの中にこそ本質が宿る

『無片』は　完全さを拒みながらも静かに時と向き合い　そのひび割れた表情の奥には風化と削ぎ落としを経た”本質” が静かに宿り　不完全であることがむしろ人の心に深く沁みわたり　語られなかった時間の記憶が裂け目の中に眠っていて　触れた瞬間に音も言葉もないはずの気配が確かに上がり「在る」と「無い」のあわいに浮かぶ存在の余韻として　名もなき風景や名もなき感情が心の奥底にそっと届いてくる。この器は壊れたものでなく　そぎ落とされた美の形なのです。

It is not perfection, but rather the imperfectiona that hold the essence

”Muppen” rejects perfection, yet quietly faces time; within its cracked expression lies its ”essence”, weathered and chipped away, its imperfection penetrates deeply into the human heart, untold memories of time lie dormant within the cracks; the moment it is touched, a soundless, wordless presence rises to life, and nameless landscapes and nameless emotions gently reach the depths of one’s heart as an aftertaste of an existence floating between “being” and “not being.” This vessel is not broken, but a form of chipped away beauty.

Vold Earth 　虚無の大地（焔土漆器）

乾ききった大地のようなその表情は　沈黙の中に激しさを宿し触れた瞬間に何かが崩れ　何かが始まるような予感を残す。偶然がもたらした裂け目は　時間と熱の軌跡であり　美しさとは完成ではなく壊れゆく瞬間にあると気づかさせてくれる。感情の奥深くに届くプレートと言う存在を超えた存在　それが『Void Earth』。闇の奥から浮かび上がるように現れたその姿は　記憶の底に眠る感情を呼び覚まし　触れた者の心に静かに棲みつくように生き続ける。

Beauty in moment of destruction

This plate is inspired by the cracked surface of parched earth, evoking the quiet strength and fragility of nature shaped over time. Its deep fissures are the result of a unique technique that embraces unpredictability, allowing natural forces to play a role in the final form. The matte,ash-like texture and subdued tones suggest a landscape that has endured heat, dryness, and timeーyet remains quietly dignified. Rather than being polished of perfect, the surface expresses a beauty bom from imperfection and decay. Each piece is made entirely by hand, ensuring that no two are ever alike, and each carries asense of stillness, weight and memory. Void Earth is not simply a plateーit is art object that invites contemplation, evoking themes of erosion, resillerce, and transience. It stands as quiet yet powerful presence in any space, for collectors who seek depth and narrative in material form.

寂土 Jakudo 焔土漆器　

乾ききった大地のように深く走るひび割れと　荒れた質感の中に静かな美を宿したプレート皿。崩れゆく姿にこそ美しさを見出す侘び寂びの心を移し　古い時代から続く「不完全の中に潜む永遠の美」を現代に表現しています。荒寂の表面と静謐な余白が交差する姿は　時の流れを映し出す大地の詩のように　使う人の感性にそっと語りかけます。料理を盛る器としてはもちろん　アートピースとして空間に飾れば静かで確かな存在感を放ちます。

“Jaku-do”―meaning “Silent Earth”― is aplste that embraces the quiet beauty found in imperfection. The cracked surface, like parched soil, refiects the passage of time and the dignity of decay. What seems fragile holds within it a orofound strength, a silent poetry shaped by nature and chance. This piece invites you to feel the wabi-sabi spirit: the fleeting, the weathered, and the beautifully incomplete.

白影　Haku-ei にごり酒専用ぐい吞み　焔土漆器

『白影』は、にごり酒のために生まれたぐい吞みです。　澄んだ酒がまだ存在しなかった時代、人々は自然のままに発酵した「にごり酒」を楽しんでいました。白濁したその一杯は　素朴でありながらも深い味わいを持ち　日々の糧であり祈りの供物でもありました。　『白影』は、その時代に漂うわび・さびの精神と　にごり酒が放つ素朴な美を重ね合わせて生まれた器です。古びてなお美しいものへの憧れを映し出し　にごり酒の味わいを一層引き立てます。

かつてまだ清酒が存在しなかった時代、人々は濁りを含んだ素朴な酒を楽しんでいました。その『にごり酒』の味わいは　古びたものに宿る美しさ　すなわち「わび・さび」と深く響き合います。ひび割れた大地のような表情を持つこのぐい吞みは　濁り酒の素朴な甘味と共に　時を越えた趣を引き立ててくれるでしょう。静かに盃を傾ければ　古の宴が目の前に蘇るかのような感覚を呼び起こします。

ZRAKー白濁した酒と　時の影が重なり合う

This guinomi wascreated as avessel for nigori sake, the cloudy, unrefined brew that was enjoyed in Japan long before the clear refined sake of today. Its cracked surface and aged texture embody the essence of wabi-sabiー the beauty of imperfection and impermanence. Just as nigori sake carries the taste of tradition and time, this cup reflects the spirit of an era when sake was raw, cloudy, and deeply human. Together, the vessel and the drink awaken aforgotten sense of quiet richness, as though the past itself were being poured into the present.

”Shirokage” is a guinomi created for nigori sake.

In the Kamakura and Muromachi periods, clear refined sake had not yet been born. People drank sake in its natural, unfiltered formーcloudy, rustic, and full of life. This white haze was more than a drink: it was daily nourishment, a sacred offering, and a refiection of simplicity and depth. “Shirokage” echoes that era’s spirit of wabi-sabi, capturing the quiet beauty found in the aged and imperfect. It is a vessel where the cloudy elegance of nigori sake reveals its truest charm.

影月 EIGETSU・ぐい吞み

ひび割れは　失われつつあるときめきであり　ゆったりと流れる時の象徴でもある。器に刻まれた割れ目はただの傷ではなく　心を静かに震わせ忘れていたときめきを呼び覚ます自然の揺らぎであり　その美は月が水面に映るように　時の流れを映し出している。

”The cracks are symbols of a fading sense of wonder and of time flowing gently. The fissures carved into the vessel are not mere scars, but subtle tremors that awaken forgotten emotions, a shimmering of natur that rekindles lost wonder, and their beauty, like the moon reflected upon the water’s surface, quietly mirrors the passage of time.”

KAGE-TSUKIー The Shadowed Moon

In silence, the moon speaks without avoice, its pale light shaping darknwss into calm. Between light and ahadow, Kage-tsuki is born a vessel that breathes like the cracked earth, each fracture holding the pulse of time. When filled with nigori sake, a white moon awakens within, trembling gently, as if time itself were holding its breath.
